Change! Growth! Transformation!

What do these things have in common?

The answer is they are often road blocked by fear. When looking ahead we can see the path that leads us in the direction of our life's greatest desires, and when obstacles jump out in front of us from the bushes we get anxious, afraid, and we become paralyzed by fear.

Fear of the Unknown

The fear of what might happen if we choose to pursue our paths, or the fear of losing the things we should have let go of a long time ago.
Ask yourself this: Am I holding myself back because of my fear of what lies ahead, or is it my fear of losing something I've allowed myself to become attached to?'

It's important to differentiate the actions we should be taking from the actions we are taking. If what we're doing aligns with what's necessary to reach our goals, we must ask ourselves what else can be done to make sure that these actions continue to serve our purpose. If our actions don't help us on our path we must then ask ourselves what needs to be done to change into the person that can pursue the lifestyle that we want.

What Can You Do?

Nutrition is a great place to start because of the direct control we have over the things we choose to eat, and it's a great way to transform our health and well-being.

You wouldn't fuel a high-performance car with the same gas that you use for an economy car, so if you want to perform at your maximum capability, eat the foods that will provide you the fuel to do so.  Poor nutrition is often a huge obstacle. It is connected to sickness and fatigue, which are often deciding factors of our capabilities, and a determinant of our success.

Sickness and fatigue as a result of poor nutrition are often heard as excuses for not putting the effort needed achieve goal or one's full potential. On the other side of a healthy and nutritious lifestyle is a bursting amount of energy and good health.

As a society we have become accustomed to a life of eating habits that are leading causes of cardiovascular (heart) diseases, diabetes, and fatigue. The act of changing an eating habit can be truly transformational and allow for good health and personal growth. Taking a step towards a new lifestyle might leave you a bit fearful, but there are two sides to making this small change to your actions. Choose to focus on the side filled with excitement, feeling more energetic, and the side that holds a happier, healthier lifestyle.
